Haute Couture S/S08 I
‘Tis the week for mega-attractive, inventive and unwearable couture!
Christian Dior
Haute Couture S/S08 began off with a bang with the ever-spectacular collection from Christian Dior by John Galliano. As per the collections from the previous couple of haute couture seasons, this assortment was composed of powerful, vibrant, vivid colours. The concept of this collection was Madame X, which I know absolutely nothing about and am not bothered to Wiki it, but do do so if you happen to be interested. To be sincere, while these couture items are all genuinely amazing, I am not completely awed right after Dior’s Japanese collection in HC S/S07, my favourite but. Perhaps it seems to be far more beautiful in genuine lifestyle.
The jewel colours are SO gorgeous. Gosh, visualize all the function place into constructing the dress and all those small information!
These are fantastic to look at (in an artistic way) and extremely unwearable.
Don’t the designs search like they are wearing tremendous-volumous attire with capes on? And make sure you don’t notify me that the grey dress (left) is manufactured of bestial skin because that’s just frightening. (Hmm, perhaps I must search up a nearer-up photo.)
Aww, these are so cute and girly! (-in an pricey and unrealistic way of training course.)
Anne Valerie Hash
I like how this assortment feels extremely delicate, nevertheless nonetheless edgy in some ways, (maybe it really is the neatral colours or the menswear attributes.) A quite delicate and feminine collection, with some current tendencies integrated in:
Massive shoulders.
Gentle and see-by means of.
Pencil-gown and menswear.
Giorgio Armani Prive
I feel this is the initial Armani Prive assortment that I have really liked, (or possibly it really is just that I’ve currently forgotten the older collections.) I’ve constantly thought Amrani collections as smooth, advanced in a a bit outdated trend. But this collection feels more modern and softer.
The fits seem relatively impractical. Very good issue people will not in fact have on these, but if only we could use adorable, bubbly suitskirts to perform!
I specially love the cocktail attire -so divine! Sigh.
Cocktail attire as art items.
As for the lengthy gowns, they are feminie and glamorous as always.
