SS08 Trend- Bronze and Blue Hues

1 of my absolute favorite issues to do every time is to scout out the latest eye shadow palettes. They are practically always drool worthy, creating me want a piece of almost everything, even however I previously have far more make-up than I need to have.
This year the consensus for eye shadow appears to be bronze and blue hues. This search over from Sephora is the epitome of these two shades.
Smashbox calls it Desert Chic, with these Warmth Wave (left) and Oasis (proper) palettes.
Stila (left) just calls it their constrained version summer palette, whilst Lancome (proper) calls it the Brazilian shades.
Shu Uemura has some thing equivalent with their Fleur de Rose (left) and Fleur de Resource (correct) palettes from their 25th Boutique Birthday Make-up Assortment. I tried out the appear for the Fleur de Rose palette, and besides bronze they also look to favor a tinge of pink/red. The hues go on genuinely strongly. The pink/red does not specifically make me look like someone punched me (I requested), but let’s just say that pink/red, dark purple and bronze (the proposed combo) is not just the most flattering colours for my reasonable skin tone. I feel this Fleur de Rose palette has prospective even though, if you use only one particular or two colours at a time.
Other manufacturers favouring the metallic bronze pattern are Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier. Bobbi Brown also has a pink tinge, with their Bronzed Pink Search utilizing the Bronze Pink metallic shade above (left). Laura Mercier has these truly adorable eye colour pots (appropriate) for their Gold Digger collection (they come up with all types of names for bronze….), that has an eye shadow shade AND a complimenting shade of their unfastened powder. I tried using it and blended jointly, they go on incredibly strongly. This is not for the faint heart. As significantly as I liked the double decker combo, it was surely not my style.

To be straightforward, none of these bronze and blue palettes are actually my fashion. Possibly with the exception of the Fleur de Rose, none of the hues in these palettes seem to go collectively truly properly. Probably it is just me, but even with the “seem” shown over from Sephora, I just are not able to imagine what I would do with these hues. It is a depressing day certainly when this season’s eye make-up palettes fall short to excite me.
