The Hat For Summer 08
Hats are all the rage this summer time. More exclusively, straw hats are all the rage. The intention to look chilled-out-rock chic or festival chic. The wonderful thing about this S/S08 pattern is that on the runway, any style of straw hats will do, whether the hat is the smaller fedora design, or bigger floppy type. And most importantly, hats are so useful for the summer days out. In fact on any offered day, I’d favor not to have to use a hat (-hat hair!) but considering that I’ve been travelling a bit, I truly desired some thing to defend my skin from the sun. Therefore my sudden curiosity in the hat trend.
The most functional hat for shading my encounter from the sun would be one of these massive floppy hats. And I figure I would really feel a lot less idiotic putting on a single this summer season since it was on the runway and hey, even Blair wore it in Gossip Lady (-poor logic, I know.) But since it’s not really feasible for me to fit this sort of a significant, irregular shape into my suitcase, I determined against it.

The form I wanted was 1 like the a single Rachel Bilson was donning. It looks so awesome on her!
It seems a lot like this fedora from Urban Outfitters. Unfortunately, it looks to be only accessible in the US.

I attempted on a similar one particular to the one Kristen Dunst is donning in the picture from Best Shop, butI assumed it seemed way far too a lot like a cowboy hat. I needed to search festival chic, not like I believed Halloween had arrive early. Furthermore the sides were so small it didn’t look like it would in fact shade my face from the sun.
So I ended up settling for this hat -it is part practical and part festival chic. And it matches perfectly into my suitcase. I’ve been really loving it on my vacations!
I also debated in between straw color and black. I believed black was even more versatile than straw colour. But in the end, I determined to get into the spirit of travelling and the present pattern and opted for a straw-coloured one particular. (The straw-coloured hats should have been significantly far more common than the black types due to the fact the Leading Store I went to only had 1 straw-coloured hat left, while there ended up even now many black ones.)
