Valentine’s for Friends!

Valentine’s day is just around the corner! More than the many years, I really feel like we’ve quite exhausted the theme of Valentine’s, from what to get for her, for him to what to wear. So this calendar year, I’ve determined to consider on a various angle and do Valentine’s for pals. As someone reminded me lately, Valentine’s day is the day to show men and women we love that we adore them, and that is not exclusive for lovers.
A extremely very good notion is to make customized Vday cards for all your buddies, like the ones over (left) from Shutterfly. Its easy and sweet. Other suggestions. I very like this “All About Me” book from UO in which they can fill in their life’s tale. What far better present than to give them a point of view on on their own?
Traditional pink Vday trinkets like this rose ring and compact heart formed mirror from UO is also a nice touch. Lovey dovey presents don’t often have to occur from your lover soon after all.
But of study course, amongst us women, we know that the correct path into our hearts is not via heart shaped trinkets, but through a lot of pampering and primping. So may well I suggest these darling lip shines from Philosophy (left) or nail varnishes in enjoyable hues (appropriate: OPI)?
You can even throw in some Spa sets (left: Bliss, right: Cosmedicene) and have a girl’s evening in, providing every other spa treatments and painting every single other’s nails….
…even though viewing this season’s most woman electrical power tv display, Cashmere Mafia and Lipstick Jungle. So far, I like Cashmere Mafia much more.
And last but not least, sweets! Much more particularly, I have a craving for cupcakes. These are from Sprinkle’s, but I’ve never ever attempted them. So my heart is with the Magnolia bakery cupcakes from NYC…..yum! I keep on thinking about them, I worry that I’ve placed it on a pedestal and it is only in my imagination that they are so very good. But indeed, these will be the perfect thing to share with your close friends and show them you adore them (also think of Blair’s tremendous sleepover in GG- they had cupcake fountains as well!). I know I’d feel cherished :)
