Elegant or Prom?

My mom recently arrived back again from a wedding in Sydney and she received me a gown. On the telephone she produced it sound really fantastic, “it is a night dress in a pale sea green color, that goes just beneath your knees with a matching shawl/scarf. Absolutely everyone, even your dad, thinks it is very elegant and stunning!” It by no means occurred to me that I’d want a pale green gown, but viewing as it IS Xmas, probably it will be just the thing for a Christmas party!
When I initial laid eyes on it, my initial reaction was PROM Gown. The complete pastel colour and the jewels at the bodice, with the duration ….you received to confess, it’s a bit prom like. If not prom like, then at minimum bridesmaid like. Or just… type of aged (esp with the matching shawl). Do not get me incorrect. I really like my mom for remembering me on her vacation and getting be things out of the blue. I DO know how lucky I am and I do recognize the gesture. And as significantly as I am complaining now, I will probably stop up putting on it. This is just not some thing I’d pick on my own… I’d probably select some thing more vibrant with funkier jewels, far more modern day. As an economist, I’m usually contemplating about chance expense.

Having stared at it for really some time now although, I am starting up to come about to it a bit. The pale sea green coloration and basic bodice layout can be thought to be as goddess-like and sophisticated. And although it is not present day, I guess it is traditional. I won’t be able to go far too mistaken in a classic dress, right?
