Milan S/S 09: Burberry Prorsum

I love Christopher Bailey. He revamped the Burberry checks and produced them great yet again and he is just seems to be like this sort of a cutie! But even that failed to stop me from becoming disappointed in his newest collection. It was a depressing demonstrate.
The models with their extended trench coats and floppy hats virtually appear like those creepy nudists on the streets. The dreary shades did not assist (I believed it was intended to be a spring/summer collection?). I could see some bits and pieces of the very easily chic search here and there, with the lengthy cardigans and skinny pants (left), but the relaxation kind of just blended together into a muddy haze. The styles have been not negative, but it was just not quite exciting or inspiring. It was like there ended up 52 variations of the same appear. Oh wait around, that is not fairly correct. 1 product caught out in distinct- in addition to getting drenched upon, she appeared like she took an further part in the mud…. and accidentally received lifeless leaves and branches stuck on her coat (proper).
Oh and check out the shoes. It seems that not only do we now have peep-toe oxford footwear, but we will have peep-toe-sling-again oxford sneakers very quickly too! A lot more on how I really feel about these later…….As for the coloration of these footwear, it is totally ugh, but I suppose then you would not have to fret about acquiring it dirty from rolling in the mud!
